Job Description We are looking for a talented, dynamic and solutions-oriented print designer with experience in advertisement and brochure production, keen to expand his/her career to include print production- and project management. The successful candidate will work with and report to the Marketing Director to develop and implement an offline strategy, in line with the overall marketing activity and business objectives.
The role will include responsibility for the planning, execution and project management of Cultural Care Au Pair’s entire range of print projects, from the initial phase of reviewing requirements to the final stages of production and distribution. This will also include providing in-house graphic design services, overseeing the development and production of editorial content, photos and layout as well as managing supplier selection.
You will be a part of our international in-house marketing team in Luzern, Switzerland supporting over 20 countries in their marketing and sales efforts. The role will also require collaboration with marketing counterparts in Boston, USA as well as contact with other Education First teams in London, UK.
Key responsibilities: - Plan, design and execute innovative and effective printed marketing materials for over 20 markets worldwide including flyers, posters, gadgets, booklets, exhibitions booth design, etc.
– Follow the central art guideline while adapting the local markets’ need for the offline or print materials Giving out direction for the central photo and video shootings
Qualifications and requirements: - Graphic design or related degree - Strong skills (Minimum 3-5 years) with Adobe InDesign and the Adobe Creative Suite - In depth experience of Photoshop and Illustrator - Experience, passion and knowledge about marketing - Knowledge and experience from the physical print process from vector to print - A solid understanding of print standards and best practices - At least three years’ experience in the field of publication - Proven background of publication, offline promotion and project delivery - Experience in desktop publishing - Strong project management and people skills and be a strong team player - Entrepreneurial and positive spirit, detail-oriented and strong sense of ownership - Result-driven with flexible work style and ability to perform under pressure - Fluency in both written and spoken English, other language skills a plus e.g. Spanish, German, Swedish - Copywriting experience will be a great plus - Applicants must be elegible to apply for a working permit in Switzerland. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Senior Graphic Designer role.
