The Digital Production Artist is responsible for assisting in the design and execution of the Social Media Departments creative deliverables. The Production Artist for Social Media also works with the agencyâs creative team to ensure design and messaging is in accord to create maximum consumer impact. He/She will be under the direction of the Senior Art Directors, Creative Directors and Executive Creative Directors.
Role and Responsibilities: -Develops and executes visual concepts for the Social Media Department. -Effectively communicates status and concerns of relevant projects to the creative and account teams in a timely, accurate and complete manner. -Reviews and proofs all materials that are to be delivered to the client, including appropriate labels and order, in a consistent and professional manner. -Maintains job folders of all relevant work. Maintains active and archival project files, to include concepts, assets and anything else related to the project. -Maintains and advances knowledge and understanding of fields relevant to job function, including (but not limited to) art, design, social media and advertising. -Maintains industry knowledge of clients business, technologies, terms and trends. Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of relevant software tools.
Candidate Requirements: -1-2 years of full-time agency experience -Bachelors degree in graphic design or related field -Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator -Knowledge of In-Design, Premiere and After Effects -Experience with photo compositing and re-touching -Experience working within strict brand guidelines -An understanding of typography -Knowledge of how images are used on social media channels -The ability to take direction and represent it visually -Strong organizational and time management skills -Able to manage multiple on-going projects at once -Work well in a fast-paced environment
