Oticon is looking for a Jr. Art Director who will lead the creative direction for the Oticon brand by creating and executing compelling and strategic concepts for B2B and B2C projects. The candidate should be highly creative, a strategic thinker, extremely organized and able to prioritize workload, be a positive and collaborative team member.
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Manage and participate in ideation, creation and delivery of a diverse range of both digital and print media, direct mail, tradeshows, point of sale, websites, email campaigns, banner ads, mobile sites, apps, social media experiences
Ensure creatives are true to brand identity, consistent with corporate visual identity guidelines
Prepare layout for printer and supervises print and assembly process.
Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space and aesthetic design concepts.
Work collaboratively with a cross functional team
Coordinate with traffic and production to schedule time and projects to meet deadlines.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in design, interactive design, advertising or other design related program. The candidate must have 5-7 years of design experience of which 3-5 as a Senior Graphic Designer, preferably in B2B and B2C environments. The candidate must have working knowledge of online marketing tactics, industry trends and user behavior incluing search, email and social ntworking platforms. Working knowlede of user experience and content management systems. Applicant must be proficient with the PC platform and be able to us the following programs: In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Flash, Acrobat and Quark Express. Candidates should also have knowledge of HTML, CSS, MS Word and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Java is not required but preferred. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
