Goole Town Council: Artist/Oral Historian
Goole Town Council is seeking a company/individual to deliver an interpretation pack, oral history, audio and resources for West Park, Goole.
West Park is the largest, and most popular public parks in Goole. Opened in 1923, it features a bandstand, shelters, tearoom and toilets, space for bowls, lawn tennis, football and hockey. The bandstand provided an area for entertainment and is still used to this day.
In 2013, with the help of a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, GTC started a programme of work that would breathe new life into the park while maintaining its character and heritage.
Goole Town Council has contacts for local organisations, museums, schools and individuals who have information or resources that could be utilised in the creation of the interpretation materials.
Budget – £8000
