Young Roots: Peckham Experiment Coordinator – UK

Young Roots: Peckham Experiment Coordinator (Deadline: 27th Mar)

The South London Gallery (SLG) is a locally, nationally and internationally recognised centre for contemporary visual art with an acclaimed and award-winning education and outreach programme.

This is an exciting time to join the SLG with an ambitious programme of exhibitions and events for the year ahead as well capital development plans for the gallery’s expansion into the grade II listed former Peckham Road Fire Station.

The gallery is seeking an exceptional Young Roots: Peckham Experiment Coordinator who will be responsible for leading and managing a programme of heritage activities for young people. The post holder will manage the SLG’s young people’s forum, the Art Assassins, as they develop their heritage research project about The Peckham Experiment, as well as providing administrative support for the Young People’s Programme at the SLG. We are particularly interested in individuals who are from backgrounds under-represented in galleries.
